I bought this because I'm paranoid about leaving my Garmin nüvi 1690 in the windshield mount when I go places, for fear it will get stolen. I used to either take it inside with me, or put it in the glove compartment, but both options sometimes exposed my GPS to potential damage. I bought this to protect my GPS, and it's very nice. It fits like it was designed for my model GPS, and doesn't really add much bulk (though you wouldn't want to walk around with this in your pants pocket or anything, as it's a little too big for that). It has a pouch for a microSD card, which I don't own, but it seems like it might be difficult to get the card back out if you were to use that. -- Great product
I have a Nuvi 255WT and there's about a half inch extra space on the top and side inside the case. That said, good quality case, but don't expect it to fit like a glove. -- Works, but doesn't fit like a glove
