I purchased 2 cases because of the positive reviews. They fit my Garmin Summit HC like a glove and very rugged. I can see where the hinge could be of concern as other reviewers have pointed out but I don't see that as a show stopper. As for the design and color it works for me. This case is perfect for the high impact lifestyle of the military. If you are tough on items, regardless of how careful you are. Then this is the perfect case for you. The fit is very snug and with the screen protector covers all the exposed parts of the gps. Buy with confidence. -- Best case I've found.
I have been looking for a better case then the crappy one that Garmin sells. I have been using a heavy duty "bucket buddy" cellphone case which works well, yet doesn't let me use the GPS without taking it out of the case of course.
When I ran across this I had to have it, and my wife got it for me for my birthday.
Extremely well made, easy to use while in the case. I haven't tried the faceplate protector as I already had one on.
The only negative I'd say, and it's nitpicking; is that it doesn't have the tightener bead for the wrist strap, though it does have a nice hook.
I carefully took the bead off the Garmin wrist strap and slip the hook off the wrist strap on this Foarm one, and slipped the bead on and put the hook back on and it was perfect.
Very nice case, though some people might find it ugly visually. But I think that's part of it's 'charm' too. -- Very functional case and protector, very nice.
I dropped my gps in a talas field and it survived bouncing off rocks and rolling down pretty far. I don't worry about it being damaged at all. It looks really cool too. The only thing that I don't like about this is the way the case closes. there's no way to cut the strings on this case cause you need them to help lock it closed. I would rather just use the belt clip in most cases but Now I have a footlong cord hanging from the unit.

The Good
- Very solid case! Makes the GPS rock solid!
- The feel of the GPS is now similar to a spray-on bed liner that you see on some trucks. Gives it a nice comfortable grippy feel when you use it.
- The metal clip behind is very firm and secure, unlike some holders which were very flimsy.
The Bad
- I have only 1 minus point for this cover, hence the 4 stars. The hinge at the top of the cover for mine has started to wear out after only 6 months of use (mind you I'm not a rough user). It has not broken yet, i just have to be a bit careful with it when opening/closing it. -- Good Solid Case!
