This radio was exactly what I needed. It seems solidly built, has a nice rubber feel, somewhat heavy but indicative of the high quality of the battery and other components. Regarding the battery, I have only used it for a few days now but it is still at full charge. Reception is very clear. A strong recommendation. -- Excellent VHF handheld radio
Well, what can I say--it came packaged nicely and has two battery packs and the accessor(ies) seem like decent quality. It's not overloaded with gimmicky features which is a plus for me. The radio works well but it's too soon to say how it will work long term--the proof is in how these things work a year or two later. So far so good! -- VHF Radio Review
